The Hugo Award nominations are now open to members of Sasquan. The Hugo Awards honor the fan publications, literature, visual arts, media, and fan publications across the field of science fiction and fantasy published or released in the previous calednar years. The awards are chosen by the World Science Fiction Society, which is the membership (attending and supporting) of the World Science Fiction Convention, which in 2015 is Sasquan in Spokane, Washington, August 19-23.
If you are not already a member of Sasquan, you would have to become a member by January 31 to be eligible to submit nominations. Members of Loncon 3 and MidAmeriCon 2, the 2014 and 2016 Worldcons, are also eligible to nominate, though these will not be able to vote in the Hugo Awards unless they become members of Sasquan.
In order to submit nominations online, you will need nomination credentials, specifically a membership number and identification number (PIN). These are to be sent out in email the week of January 21. For members who already know who and what they want to nominate, or later who misplace the email, you can visit the Hugo PIN Lookup page to send you your credentials. If you have other questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Hugo Administfators.
